Mise Pricing: What $6.99 a Month Actually Gets You
Mise costs $6.99/month or $69.99/year with a 7-day free trial. Here's exactly what's included, and why the trial is short instead of long.

Mise costs $6.99 a month, or $69.99 a year. There's a 7-day free trial. That’s likely the whole answer to the question you came here with.
Here's the one you probably came here with next: why isn't it free, or at least a longer trial, like most of the apps in this category?
Why we didn't make the trial longer
Most meal-planning apps give you a free tier or a 14- to 30-day trial. We looked at that and decided it wasn't actually a favor to you. A free tier that only unlocks browsing means you never test the part that matters: whether you'll actually build a week's plan and use the grocery list. A month-long trial mostly buys you a month of forgetting to think about it.
Seven days is one Sunday. That's enough time to do the thing Mise is actually for: plan a week, generate the list, cook from it. If it doesn't save you the mental load of deciding dinner five nights in a row, you'll know by day seven, not day thirty.
We'd rather you cancel in week one than pay for three months you didn't use.
What you get for $6.99
The full loop, no feature gate:
- Swipe through recipes and save the ones you want
- Build your week in the planner
- Get an automatic grocery list, grouped by category, combined across recipes
- Cook with step-by-step instructions in the app
Nothing above is locked behind a higher tier. The $6.99 plan is the app.
Monthly or annual
Monthly is $6.99. Annual is $69.99, which works out to $5.83 a month. Both start with the same 7-day trial. If you already know you hate deciding dinner every week, annual is the better deal. If you want to actually test it first, start monthly and switch later from your App Store account settings.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the Mise free trial?
Seven days on either the monthly or annual plan. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before that in your App Store account settings.
Is there a free version of Mise?
No. Mise is a paid app with a 7-day trial, not a free app with a paywall. We built one full product instead of a free version designed to get you to upgrade.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings, at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid being charged for the next period.
Is Mise a recipe app?
No. Mise is not a recipe database, and it's not a calorie tracker. It's built to get you from "what's for dinner" to a finished grocery list in one sitting. Recipes are the input. The plan and the list are the point.
Does Mise work on Android?
Yes. Mise is available on iPhone and on Google Play for Android.
